I don't agree with separating out a partial update of the toolset in
the first place, I think it is of limited use and I think it creates
more confusion than benefits. I wouldn't really mind that you did, IF
it had been completely clear to me that it was a partial update.
I have been following the releases of Xcode *very* closely, as the
problems with the 1.0.x release has been affecting our development team
greatly, and I still missed that this was a partial update.
Let me just add my voice to those who thinks that you should make this
much clearer in future releases of the developer tools.
To save yourself from having to deal with a lot of confused developers
in the nead future, you should probably post a note about this all
places where you have Xcode users: xcode-users, cocoa-dev, macosx-dev,
the ADC web site, the ADC newsletter, et.c. - as most Xcode users don't
read mailing lists (not even the ones they're subscribe to)...
