I believe that has to do with the headers used by the mailing list software. You could try mailing to the list-mom (see <http://lists.apple.com> and follow the link to the xcode-users page).

Why not just click Reply All instead of just Reply? That sends to both, with the list address in the cc: field.


As somebody who was receiving as digests for a while, I think it is good to reply both to the list and to the sender. I appreciated receiving replies to my own posts immediately, and not having to wait for my next digest before I could see them.

Hmm, but then of course I guess there is this little problem that the sender whose address you get is only the immediately most recent one, which is not necessarily the one you wanted, as illustrated by the fact that I didn't send my previous message to H. Miersch! Oops...
