hm, looks like you're right. is there an option in the preferences to
deactivate this? there should be.
It isn't *sigh*. Some hackery works, though:
vi
/System/Library/Frameworks/AddressBook.framework/Versions/A/AddressBook
to replace two "homepage" strings with a local (127.0.0.1) http server.
Thanks to some guy on the Darwin Development list to point this out.
