Undefined Symbols weirdness

So I had to convert some .c to .cp files in my XCode 1.2 project.
Since XCode cannot handle .c files that include any .h file with a
class declaration in it, I had to switch ALL my .c files over to .cp.
Upon doing this, and building, XCode gives me an error for undefined
symbols for one tiny debugging routine I call at two places in the
program. Commenting out those two calls so that there are NO calls to
it still gives me an "Undefined Symbols:" error *without* any symbols
listed. I also noticed in doing the .c to .cp conversion, that
several warnings started appearing that never appeared in previous
compilations.
Is Xcode sucking in a different set of headers because of the .cp
extension or is there some other weirdness I am missing? It's very
annoying.
Thanks,
Michael
