Could be. The doc seems to disagree ("When building an application
that uses static libraries (.a files), each static library is linked
to produce a bundle.")
At least, on "paper", the use of static libraries is supported. The
difference between theory and practice is, of course, the reason there
are bug tracking systems...
To tie this thread up, I finally managed to search the archives and
discovered this very issue was covered back in November, when I wasn't
paying close attention. (Search for "ZeroLink unknown symbol", with
quotes).
Nick: in your Nov/04 post, you mentioned several reasons for ZeroLink
not working; are these from experience, gedanken experiments, or
certain knowledge? I'm not doubting; just curious.
