Hi,
My expectation is that FOGRA52 should work in a similar way to 39 or 47 or 45
etc in that we should be able to create profiles from the data set that result
in images that look so similar to the ECI version that the clients don’t notice
any difference.
it would help if you could detail your workflow in more technical detail, as
it's
not at all clear to me what you are doing or attempting to achieve. i.e.
If you are doing proofing:
What is the source space encoding of the images you are proofing ?
What is the destination printing device you are using ?
What paper are you using on the device ?
Can you post a link to a patch data set of the destination color space ?
or are you not doing proofing, but trying to do something like adapt
source material encoded in Fogra52 to a real press ?
or are you trying to separate RGB etc. into Fogra52 and then printing
it to something (exactly what ?)
You know what you are trying to do, but it's totally unclear to me.
Cheers,
Graeme Gill.
