I don't use the side buttons (4 and 5 button) for the reason you
mention. This mouse actually has no buttons as such, but relies on
finger contact at the points where buttons would actually be. As a

Hm, I've found the 4th and 5th buttons hard enough to press that
hitting them accidentally isn't a problem (if anything, they're *too*
hard to press).
