These are CMYK separations to various profiles built using the FOGRA52.txt data
(and a couple using the 47L data). Proofs simulate FOGRA52 on matte OBA media
using a SureColor P5000 with the violet ink set.
Right, so you are using the Fogra52 as an input profile in a proofing workflow
to an Epson P5000 ?
For the sake of argument, let’s say that I like BVDM’s Mr Low Key when we
convert from ECI RGB to the ECI's PSO Uncoated v2 profile.
Sorry, what exactly is "BVDM’s Mr Low Key" ? - can you provide a reference ?
Not PSOsc-b_paper_v3_FOGRA54.icc ?
If I create an ICC profile from the FOGRA52.txt data using *any* of the
software tools that I have at my disposal, including Argyll, I cannot match Mr
Low Key.
I'm not clear on what you mean by "match Mr Low Key", since'
your workflow is still opaque.
All variants result in an image that is far too blue.
I gather from your following email that this was with perceptual intent.
Graeme Gill.
